Thanks to Eric Jensen - Jared didn't have to watch Gavin a whole lot. I guess Gavin and Toby spent about 3-4 hours exactly like this. Playing with guns in the back of the truck! Jared is eternally grateful! There are not any good pictures of Caleb because as soon as they arrived he was off like a shot with all of his friends. Jared didn't see much of him except in passing! I am happy to say that no one broke any bones or burnt themselves throwing things into the fire! All in all a successful weekend.
I have been waiting for 3 years for this day!! Gavin is finally potty trained and got to go to Father's and sons this weekend. It was heaven for me - I am not so sure Jared would describe it that way. I did forget to pack a pull up for the night time - since Gavin is not night potty trained. Opps! Sorry Jared. It was pretty cold (about 28 degrees) and Gavin didn't sleep all that well, but otherwise had a great time.

I don't know if they spent that long in the 'playpen' - but they sure wanted to. Caleb also went on a fun ride in the back of the truck up to see and play in Tonto Creek - did Jared know Caleb was gone? ;) I think we went to bed too early to get any of Jared's cobbler dessert :( I hope he cooks again next year - I always look forward to it! oh, and I would've given Jared a pull-up . . . Susan was optimistic that I would change Toby more than just once so we had extras!
Looks like all of the boys had fun!! Gotta love those father and sons outings!! :o)
I finally found your blog! YEAH!!! It's too cute! Hey, and happy official 2nd birthday to Brina. Today she is 2 years, 2 months, 2 weeks and 2 days old. When will it be 2 hours and 2 min.? You guys are the best!! How was the luau Friday? Hope you had a blast!
