Sabrin'a MRI

Last Wednesday we spent the day at Phoenix Children's Hospital with Sabrina. She had to get some x-rays and then a MRI. We went back for the x-rays and they changed her into her pretty gown and Jared and another tech had to hold her in place during all the x-rays. She had about 6 different x-rays and she screamed and cried the whole time they were shooting them. it was very sad. I hate sitting back and listening to her while she is scared and doesn't know what is going on and why these people are making her do things she doesn't want to do. We then moved to a little waiting room to wait to be taking back for the MRI. We ended up waiting for 2 hours and watched all of Toy Story and half of The Little Mermaid. It was a long wait and Sabrina was so good. The nurse gave her a new stuffed animal and we named her Ruby the rhino. She is cute and very soft. We finally went back to get the MRI and we laid her on the table and held her hands and talked to her while they put the mask over her mouth and put her to sleep. It is the saddest thing to watch her cry and breath deeply and then her eyes roll back into her head and she is asleep. We left her precious Raffe with her so when she woke up she had something familiar. It was about an hour and a half MRI and we waited anxiously. When she was in recovery they came and got us and she started waking up. She did pretty good - last year when we did the brain MRI she thrashed around a lot when she came out of it. She cried a lot this year but didn't thrash around. She definitely is a daddy's girl and she only wanted to lay on daddy's chest. We came home and put her to bed and she slept for about 3 1/2 hours. She was just fine when she woke up - although a little more unstable on her feet than normal. She is such a big girl and just does what she needs to do. We haven't heard any results yet. They say it takes about 5 business days to get the results unless there is a major abnormality and then we would hear sooner. It has now been 4 days. We hope there is nothing wrong, but we also hope that is there is something wrong that they can find it and fix it. I hate all the waiting!

Poor, sweet Sabrina. I'm sorry she had to go through all of that! Hopefully, you will at least get some answers :)

Poor Sabrina, I hope everything goes well. I remember how aweful it was when Sammy had his swallow study at 2 months.

Sorry, you have to go through this whole process to find out what's going on. I hope Sabrina is okay!

I hope everything is ok with little Sabrina. Poor little thing. It's definitely not fun to have to go through stuff like that. I
