Bike mishap!

Okay, so I don't have any pictures for this post unfortunately, but I just have to tell this story! So, Caleb now rides his bike to school which makes him feel so grown up. He rides down the street to the Green's house and then Caleb, Braden and Caleb all ride to school together. I didn't want him to ride by himself to school, so it is great that the Green's ride to school also. So, one day last week I send him on his way wishing him a good day at school. Ten minutes later there is a knock on the door and it is Braden telling me that Caleb fell off his bike and he has a big cut. So, I jump in my car - while in my pajamas - and go off to find him. I pull up to the Brandon's house and Josh and Alisha were outside and told me that they patched Caleb up and sent him on his way. Josh said that there was only a little tire mark on the car! I thought he was kidding at first! Well, he was not! I started driving home and ran into Caleb in front of the Elzinga's house showing everyone his cut. Come to find out that he and Caleb Green were racing on their bikes and Caleb wasn't paying attention and ran right into a parked car. Oh, I forgot to say that Josh and Alisha told me that they were saying prayers in their living room (in the back part of their house) and they suddenly heard this wailing. They wondered what it was since all their kids were with them. So, they went outside and found Caleb on the ground in front of the next house over screaming like his arm has been cut off! He is a little bit dramatic - especially if there is the slightest amount of blood involved! Kids...
