Here is Sabrina with her PT - Trista. They have so much fun together!! Today I am grateful for the State Preschool Program. Sabrina was evaluated for preschool today and needless to say she nearly didn't qualify for preschool. But, I am grateful that those that evaluated her saw more than just the scores on the paper and realized that she does need ongoing help. When she turns 3 she no longer will receive PT, Ot or speech because she does not have a diagnosis of anything wrong. But, she still is behind and needs the extra help. Now, she will get that help at preschool - if only for a little while longer. I had to fight for her a little bit to help them understand that she should be there, but I am grateful that they listened to me and decided to take her. It is kind of scary to think that my not even 3 year old little girl will go to preschool - and on a bus no less. I am grateful that this program exists and that we are fortunate to qualify for it.

It's the best, you'll love it! Keep fighting for your daughter, it will be worth it in the end!!!!
I agree with Mary - we LOVE EMECEC. It's so good for the kids. It's just too bad Toby won't be on the school bus with her :(
What a good mom you are! You have to be her advocate or no one else will. She is lucky to have come down to a family that will take such good care of her. I guess Heavenly Father knows who he can trust. Keep us "posted" on her progress :0)
