I am grateful for the Sabbath. It has gotten a little bit harder with Jared gone mostly all day - but it still is generally restful and as peaceful as it can be with 3 crazy kids around. It is nice to know that we have a day that we get to go to church and worship and draw closer to our Savior and that we don't have to worry about school, errands, and other distractions. I must admit that since Jared was called into the bishopric, I haven't been as diligent with my kids about appropriate Sabbath day activities. We are just getting used to this being on our own thing and I have just wanted some peace and quiet - but I want to try harder to make sure that my kids understand that Sundays are different and we do different activities. We will work on it slowly but surely.
So, I have now accomplished 30 days of gratitude. It has been great to take a moment each day and think of what I am grateful for. It has blessed my life to remember that I have so many blessings and to write them down and know that the Lord is such a big part of my life and always with me. There are many more blessings in my life that I did not write about and they all come from the Lord.
