Meet Jason and Jen Wells! Aren't they an adorable couple? If not a little bit odd. Today I am grateful for them and all my AWESOME friends!! We had the opportunity to attend Jeff McBride's funeral today. Our plan was that Jared would attend the funeral since he needed to be there as part of the bishopric and I would stay home with the kids. I felt that I couldn't leave them all day again this Saturday - like last Saturday. Jared received a phone call yesterday from Jason asking if there was anything they could do to help us out for the funeral. Jared said he couldn't think of anything - until Jason mentioned they would be willing to babysit our kids so we could both attend. So, not being one to turn down free babysitting we jumped on that idea. We soon learned that Jen and Jason would be taking our 3 kids (along with their baby) to a little carnival. We thought they were a bit crazy. WE barely take our kids anywhere ourselves because they are a little crazy. We sternly talked to Caleb about obeying and helping out with his brother and sister and then talked to Gavin about the need to listen and stay close to his caretakers. Well, it must have worked (or we just have better behaved kids than we thought) because they said that the kids were great. This whole long story is really just to tell you how GRATEFUL we are for wonderful friends that sacrificed part of their Saturday to help us out. We truly appreciate the service they gave to us today. I also want to say THANK YOU to all my friends that do so much for me on a daily basis. I have TERRIFIC friends that are always thinking of me and helping me in FABULOUS ways. Each one of them is special to me and I love all of you!! Thanks for being great Christlike examples to me each and everyday!
