Life is so fragile

As I talked about in a previous post, a member of our ward was killed by a drunk driver. The funeral was yesterday and it was a very neat experience to be involved in. It is such a tragic ting, yet he was such a wonderful example to everyone that knew him. Sadly, just after we finished that funeral, we got word that another member of our ward - a young father past away. He had cancer and was going through treatment in the hospital and had some complications. They have 2 young children and it just breaks my heart. So, we will sadly be doing another funeral next weekend. It just makes me sit back and remember how grateful I am for my husband and children and all my family. Knowing that both these wonderful women will see their husbands again is such a comfort. I don't know why Heavenly Father needed to take these young fathers away from their families, but I know that He must need them and especially that He will wrap His arms around these wives and children and carry them on until they can get back up and walk. My heart goes out to them and I wish I could do more for them.
