Brina

Brina loves her daddy. I just wanted to do a quick update. We applied for long-term care from the state to help us with her therapies. Well, she didn't qualify and so we have to re-apply. It is such a time consuming process. Everything through the state takes forever. I just wish we had the money to get her the therapies she needs without having to go through the state. But... Even with her diagnosis of CP - she apparently isn't bad enough they say. It is all about what she can and can't do, and this is not the time to brag about what she scan do. If they ask a question like can she walk - they are looking for yes or no. Of course she can walk, but not perfect all the time - therefore I have to say no. Some of the questions are very dificult to answer. I know that I answered some for the questions wrong this last time in her evaluation. It is really hard to say no to many of these questions. But, I promse I will do it this next time. I will get her to quailfy - because she needs the help and she needs it NOW. I will be strong and fight for her.
