Potty Training???

Sabrina has been learning how to get dressed and undressed. It is somewhat difficult for her, but she always continues to try and want to do it by herself. She is very independent. So, last Sunday was Stake Conference and so Jared was home that day. Shortly after she woke up she was ready to get dressed, so she took off her jammies and her diaper and just because I told her to try and go pee in the potty. I tried to potty train her back in late August and it was a disaster so we gave it up pretty quick. I don't think she was quite ready and I also think that she can't really feel when she needs to go since her nerve endings are not very good. Anyway, I am SO ready to be done with diapers, but also don't want to push her since it just makes everyone involved frustrated. Anyway, back to last Sunday, she didn't really want to go in the potty, but Jared took her in there and she actually went pee in the potty so from that time on, she didn't want diapers anymore. So, I gave in and put her in big girl underwear and we went about the morning getting ready. Well, it came time to go to Stake Conference and she would not put a diaper back on, so off to Conference we went in our big girl underwear. We made it through almost all of conference, until the last 15 min when Caleb took her on a walk around the hallway and she said she had to pee and Caleb tried to take her by himself. Needless, to say, it was nice of him to want to help her, but it didn't exactly work. So, we left for home and she had a little peed in her underwear. But, still at home she wouldn't put a diaper on, so we got new panties and changed clothes and I tried to get her to go potty a couple of more times. A little while later she said she needed to go, but as I went to help her get on the potty, she had pooped in her underwear. It was EVERYWHERE!! I HATE potty training! So, after cleaning her up I was done with trying and on went the diaper. We haven't really tried again since then until this morning. She went into the bathroom by herself shortly after she woke up and striped down again and sat on the potty and went! I put a diaper back on (not wanted to go through what we did last weekend) but a couple hours later, she striped again and peed again. So, now she is back in big girl underwear. We will see how long it lasts today. I don't have much confidence. But, she could prove me wrong! Besides, doesn't she look cute in her big girl panties?
