Today was Caleb's first real appointment at the Orthodontist. He was strangely giddy about the whole thing. I don't think he quite understands that when he gets his braces on it is not going to be as easy as it was today. He did really well with all the x-rays and impressions and got spacers in between his back molars.
Watching him do the impressions almost made me gag. It brought back so many horrible memories of my own braces. I have a big gag reflex and luckily Caleb does not take after me. He didn't seem too bothered by them. He even picked out the Root Beer flavored kind. Yuck!!
He was such a trooper. He will be back at the orthodontist next Thursday bright and early to get his braces put on. I can't believe that I have a child old enough to have braces. Crazy. I hope that it won't hurt too much.
They took a bunch of pictures of his mouth from every angle you could think of.
