Okay, so here is the deal. The first cat we adopted - Obi - wasn't bonding with the kids, so we made the difficult decision to take him back to the lady we adopted him from and exchanged him for this cute kitty - I don't know if we ever named him.
Sadly, he only lasted a week in our house because....
This is what Gavin looked like most of the time the cat was here. Sadly, we decided that we needed to take Gavin to the allergist. It was there we found out that he is allergic to pretty much everything. (Grass, trees, cats, dogs, feathers, mites, mold) The doctor told us that since he was allergic to everything around that the one thing we can control (having a pet) needed to go. It was a sad day. Sabrina and Caleb were very upset, but took it pretty good. It makes me feel good to know that I no longer have to feel guilty for not getting my kids a pet.
