So, Caleb had his first big project for school. I thought it would be a good opportunity for a little father/son bonding. So, Caleb and Jared worked on this project for a couple hours each night for over a week. They put a lot of time and effort into it and it turned out great. Unfortunately, things were so crazy right before we turned it in, that I didn't even get a picture of the final project! So sad.

The project was a replica of a Native American Dwelling. Caleb did one of Montezuma's Castle here in AZ. Jared built it all out of cardboard and then they went to town paper-maching it. It was a messy job, but fun.

Caleb did help with some of the construction. But, it turned out to be more complicated than expected, so Jared had to do most of it. After they paper-mached it, we used knock-down texture (stuff you put on the walls to repair it) to make it look like rock, then spray painted it. I found spray paint that actually has texture in it with different colors - to look like stone. It turned out really good and I am totally BUMMED that I don't have a picture of it completed. I thought I took one, but it was not on my camera! Oh well!
