Happy Birthday to me!!!
I always joke about how old I am getting (I am now 37 - far too close to 40 in my humble opinion). People tell me that I don't look my age and I am sure I don't act my age :), but most of my friends are MUCH younger than I am and it tends to make one feel old. But, that is neither here nor there.
I had a WONDERFUL birthday weekend - actually I got to do lots of fun things throughout the week.
Dinner with some good friends on Tuesday night, lunch with my mom on Wednesday, movies with the kids, ice cream with great friends from the ward on Thursday night and then we dropped the kids off with Jared's mom on Friday evening and went to a movie (Knight and Day). I love the movies. It is always fun to live in someone else's world for a little while. We then went to dinner and did a little shopping.
The best part was not having to worry about putting kids to bed or getting them up in the morning and out the door. Saturday (my actual birthday) started off with dropping off my van to get fixed. That was the only bummer of my birthday - having to replace the radiator on my car. I HATE car repairs, and on my birthday it is even worse somehow. Then, it was super nice of the High Priests to throw a bowling party for me. So, we went bowling for a bit then off picture frame shopping. Jared has a project that requires 4 new frames. 3 of them will have super cute pictures of the kids that he took. They turned out great. The last frame is something that I have not received yet. It is being made for me and hopefully will be done tomorrow. I am excited to see what it is. Then I will be able to post pictures of my project all together. After frame shopping, mom and dad took us to lunch. I chose Joe's BBQ so I could take advantage of my free birthday meal. Mom and I got to go shopping for a little bit while Jared went and picked up the kids. Then we all went out to dinner as a family. We ended up at BJ's so I could get a free birthday pazooki. It was SO YUMMY!!!
It was a wonderful day just being able to do some fun things with friends and family. I am so truly blessed with a wonderful family and fabulous friends that make me feel so special. Thank you to everyone that shared in my day to make it even more special. You all make my life wonderful. I love you all!!

Happy Birthday, Marci! You definitely don't look - or act - 37. Must be those kids keeping you young :)
