At the end of last school year, I had a meeting with Sabrina's IEP team and we decided that she needed to move on from EMECEC to a Pre-K program. This will help her get Kindergarten ready for next year. This program didn't start until Aug. 31. It has been a long 3 weeks with brothers in school and not Sabrina. She was so excited to meet her new teacher and start school again.

On Monday, we got to meet the teacher. Her name is Ms Axtell. She seems really nice and I think Brina will get along great with her.

Sadly, Sabrina didn't have a backpack for her first day of school, but that hardly mattered because she finally got to wear her school clothes that have been hanging in her closet for the last month and I wouldn't let her wear until school started. I am so mean - according to Brina.

Here she is on the bus. Love that smile!! She was the first kid they picked up. I don't think there are many kids that ride the bus. She said there was only 1 other kid on her bus.
After the first day of school, I asked her what they learned and she said; "Don't put your finger in your nose, or in your bum, or in your mouth. Also, don't clap your hands when you are washing them because the soap splatters into your mouth and it is yucky!!" Thought that was super interesting first day stuff.
I am so excited to see how she will do in a more "normal" classroom. She is so smart and learns so quickly!
It is crazy to think that next year all of my kids will be in school all day!

Ms. Axtell was the student teacher for Pre-K when Heather and Kylie were in there. She's really sweet and great with the kids. Sabrina will have so much fun!
