Nancy

Last weekend was a very busy, but great weekend. Jared and I met Nancy and Jared and some of their friends for lunch. Nancy and I were best friends in high school and haven't seen each other in about 5 or so years. It is so great that we have been able to keep in touch. She and her husband (Jared) were in town interviewing for jobs. She is an orthopedic surgeon. That is really strange to say. How can she be a surgeon?!? We are still in high school playing sports, twirling rifles, being upset when the boys we like don't like us back and calling the cops on parties our friends are at! :)
Nancy reminded me of one awesome prank we did in high school. I liked a guy and he was a jerk to me so the first trash day after Christmas we grabbed her family truck, picked up a bunch (and I mean a bunch - like several loads) of Christmas trees waiting for their slow, painful death in the landfill or where ever they go and stacked them - upright - in front of this guys front door and garage door. We are talkin' like 5 deep. I don't know how many we had, but it was a pretty impressive sight! Lesson - don't make me mad! :)

I hope that Nancy moves here!! It would be so fun to hang out now and then.
