Children should just not be aloud to get so sick. It breaks my heart each time I go visit to see her so sad and in pain. I can't imagine it happening to one of my children - and yet it almost feels like it is one of my children. Life can change in an instant. You never know what will happen one day to the next. Sometimes that makes me want to just keep my kids home and not let them out of my sight. Yet, I know that Heavenly Father is keenly aware of us and our needs and will always give us the strength we need to get through the really tough times. We have to trust in Him and know that the hard times will make us stronger as long as we cling to Him. Having this knowledge makes all the difference in the world as we go through things that try us.
I continue to pray daily that Kaylie will recover quickly and the worries of their life can go back to the normal everyday things like getting kids to pick up their toys or not flood the house or learning to share. We love you Kaylie and family and are grateful to have you in our lives.
