Projects...

So, like a year ago, my cute niece - in - law (I guess that is what you call her. She married my nephew) asked me to come up with something using this poem for her sister who just had a baby. She wanted one too, but I never got around to it. Sorry Michelle! But, I waited long enough that now Michelle is having a baby next month so I thought - I better get on it. This is what I came up with. I think it turned out great. I love the colors. The purple is for Michelle and the pink is for her sister.

But, it did not start out like this. I tried something different and it DID NOT turn out. I tried to make it work, but it was not cute. Especially once I did one of these. I put the 2 together and decided I really HAD to redo the first one. I could not let anyone think that I made the first one. (I won't even give you a picture of that first one! :)) Although, I think I will put it up on Craig's list and see if I can sell it. As long as you don't compare it to these - it is not so bad.
