Some parents got together and went in on a going away gift for Ms. Weinerth. We had all the kids write her a little message and took their picture and painted their hand print. Then we took a picture of her with all the kids and they signed their names on the mat of the frame.
Then, we bought her a Kindle. It will be perfect for her to read while laying on the beach! She loved it.
Ms. Weinerth is the BEST kindergarten teacher we know! I think she is the best in the world. She has been a wonderful teacher to both Caleb and Gavin and we are SO SAD that Sabrina will not get the chance to have her next year. Ms. Weinerth retired at the end of this year. She has been teaching for 30 years and deserves to retire and have some fun - but we wish she could have stayed for one more year. Needless to say, Gavin loved her and learned so much from her.
