Gavin is an official graduate of 1st grade!! His teacher was Mrs. Blackwell and she was wonderful!! He had a great year and learned a lot. He does a great job at school. He loves to help the teacher and other students. He really took off in reading. He started the year at just below a first grade reading level and now reads at a 3rd grade level. He also made math club and loves to do math! Mrs. Blackwell retired at the end of the year and it was very sad. Some families got together and we we able to get her a lot of gift cards to go play while she is retired. We also took a picture of her with the kids and has them all sign their names. It was fun to have his good friend Azme in his class - along with many other friends. Can't wait to see what 2nd grade holds.
