Huntington Beach

 

This is the second year in a row that we have gone to Huntington Beach with Sheri and Brian and their family.  Sheri found a house just a couple miles off the beach for really cheap and it works well for both our families.  We have so much fun with them (although wish we could go with all the families).  This year was no exception.  We were able to go to Disneyland one day with everyone and it was a blast.  My kids had so much fun having friends to be with while there.  We ate lunch at Ruby's diner at the end of Huntington Pier (for Caleb's birthday).  All the kids got balloon hats made.  Sabrina did slice open the tip of her toe and we were not able to go back to the beach - that was the only bummer of the trip.  But, it was so great to be out of the heat of AZ summer (Huntington was about 73 degrees everyday) and just hang out with family.  We played lots of games, laughed at the kids as they did funny things and just built better friendships with each other.  I love this vacation and hope that we can continue to do it for years to come!
