So, on Thursday Jared and Caleb were going to go to a Diamondbacks game. Caleb had just finished Aims testing at school for a week straight and Jared had gotten some free tickets from a friend at church for awesome seats (6th row behind home plate). So, we took Caleb out of school half day on Thursday and off they went to the baseball game. They were so excited. As they are getting close to the field and Jared is thinking that the traffic is not so bad and there wont be very many people at the game. He pulls into the private parking garage (the tickets are so good it comes with its own free parking) and still thinking Wow there is no one here today. Well, that's because there really was no one there that day. There was no game!! It was so sad. He looked closer at the tickets and sure enough they were for the day before. DANG IT!! They were really bummed. But, not ones to wast a perfectly good day off of school and work, they went out to lunch, then walked around the building in downtown, rode the elevator in the Chase building (the tallest one in downtown) to the top and just had a great Dad/son day.

Here is Caleb looking up at the building. Comparing his height to the buildings.

I guess he loved standing really close and looking up. He is so cute. They also went to the library in downtown and just had so much fun hanging out together. I love when they get to do things like this together. Jared is so busy with everything he has to do that it really is a big deal when they can spend some quality time together. It also goes to show that kids don't really care what they are doing, just who they are doing it with. I love my boys!!
