A Different Girl's Night Out

So, last weekend was our monthly girl's night out in our ward. I am in charge, but had made plans to take my mom to see Les Mis and so Alisha took over arranging duties for me. I heard they had a wonderful time watching Twilight, eating pizza and just chatting and critiquing the movie. I was sad I missed it. But, my mom and I had a wonderful time out. We started our evening at Charlston's for dinner and then off to the play. It was fabulous. I haven't seen Les Mis for about 15 years, and it was as good as I remembered. The main character (Jean Valjean) had an AMAZING voice. It was so wonderful to listen too. It was at the Phoenix Theatre and it is a small intimate setting and I think it made it even better. Thanks Tiff for telling me it was still playing. My mom wanted to see it and I am so glad we were able to go together. Thanks dad for helping me get the tickets. I love spending time with my mom. She is such a wonderful friend and even though we spend at least a couple days together every week, it was fun to get dressed up and go to a nice dinner and the play and just have fun being together. Thanks for being a wonderful mother but more importantly a wonderful friend. I love you Mom!!
