Saturday...

We awoke to rain and lots of clouds. It was about 48 degrees. We had decided to go to the Desert Botanical Garden to see the butterflies. Jared's family was meeting us there. We couldn't believe that after the wonderful weather we have been having, it was downright chilly. We arrived at the gardens only to find out that they were closing the butterfly exhibit for the first time in all the years they have done it. Butterflies do not fly when it is so cold. So, we had gotten everybody up and out to the garden early on a Saturday for no reason. Well, on to plan B. The Arizona Science Center!!

Sabrina and Kara
Alex loved the balls. His face kills me.

Sabrina thought this was pretty cool also. She tried to grab the ball, but it was not so easy.
I love this picture, because it really shows the relationship between brother and sister. Caleb didn't want her to touch the stuff he was trying to get to work, so this was Sabrina's reaction.

How could you resist that face?! I love it.
Pull Caleb - you can do it. Look at those muscles.
All the kids loved the science center. We could have spent another couple of hours there except we all got hungry. It turned out to be a really fun day with family.
