Caleb is now 11. Wow.

Yep - our oldest is now on the verge of being an adolescent.

Caleb's birthday was on the Sunday we were in California.  He got to have a pretty special birthday month.  He got to go on an 8 day long trip with Grandma and Grandpa Plowman.  They started in Las Vegas for a few days then went onto the beach with most of the cousins.  He did really well on the trip - just had one little meltdown.  Glad to know he did miss us a little bit.  While in CA, he got to go to Lego-land with 2 of his uncles and some cousins.  He had a BLAST!  Lego's are a passion of his and I am glad he got to go.  I was sad that I couldn't be there to watch his reactions to everything!

I can't believe that Caleb is now 11!!  He is growing up so fast and it is so fun to watch.  He is such a smart, funny, fun-loving, creative boy.  He just received his Arrow of light and Webelos and has moved onto 11 year old scouts.  He is going into 6th grade this year and it will be his last year at Elementary school.  The night of his birthday, we did cake and ice cream and also roasted smores.  I think this is the only picture we got of smores.

I love you Caleb and I am so lucky to have you as a son.  You bring me joy and are such a great example to your brother and sister and to all those around you.  You have such a good heart and want to help those around you.  I can't believe that in one year - you will be in junior high and receive the priesthood!  I LOVE YOU!!
