We interrupt your regularly scheduled blogging to bring you this message from Jared: Marci asked me to put up a few posts about our recent beach getaway, so pardon me while I indulge in sharing some photos I took.
We got back this last week from a trip to Huntington Beach. We stayed on the beach all day, every day (except Sunday) and had a blast. I had a fantastic time with my camera (with big hat tip to RD Burningham for loaning me a good telephoto lens) and got lots of great pictures.
We were there till nearly sunset every day, and that usually meant that our kids would get out of the freezing cold water into some fairly brisk air....and promptly freeze their tush off. But, it made for really excellent conditions for cool photographs:
