The parents get involved

The parents would occasionally get involved in the play in the surf as well:

 Sheri was the most active in the surf with the kids. She would spend a little time each day with the girls.

Or helping them to warm up after they froze their patooties off in the freezing Pacific water.

Brian got in on the act as well.

 The beached whale also lent a hand with Sabrina.

 This might look like she's laughing, but she was actually screaming to not go too deep.

So we didn't. (BTW, love the random kid in this picture).
