We had a great 4th of July this year. We went to the movies to see Cars 2, then went out to Ikea for free lunch. Then, we went to Amazing Jakes to go bowling. Then we went to buy our fireworks. We asked the kids if they wanted to go watch fireworks somewhere, or do our own fireworks. It wsa kind of a silly question to ask them, but sometimes you just never know what they will say. Grandma and Grandpa came by to watch fireworks with us. But, before you can enjoy fireworks, you need to have ice cream. So, we ran to Baskin Robbins and got some ice cream then came home and set off our fireworks. The kids had a blast setting them off and doing sparklers.
Thank you to all the men and women who fight everyday for our freedom. I love living in this land and am so grateful for all the freedoms it allows me and my family!
