Playdough

I am not the good mom that let's my kids play with playdough. I really hate the stuff. It is crumbily and gets everywhere. It sticks to your hands then dries and flakes off and gets everywhere. Did I mention I don't like playdough. So, I have NEVER bought playdough for my other 2 kids and each time they would get a little can of it from somewhere, I would just throw it away before they could open it. I know, bad mom. Anyway, Sabrina is in occupational therapy and I have been told several times that I needed to get some playdough and play with Sabrina doing some specific things with her playdough to strengthen her fingers and arms. So, I finally broke down and bought some - for therapy purposes! I have to say that it wasn't too bad, as long as they didn't leave the table with any of it! This is Kaylee and Sabrina. Kaylee lives 2 doors down and we have set up a playdate every Thursday morning. One week she comes over to play and the next week we go to her house to play for a couple of hours. It is a wonderful set up. They play very well together. Although, I think that Brittnie gets the bad end of our deal, because she graciously takes Gavin and Sabrina and I only get to have Kaylee! They have a lot of fun together and it is a good little break for us moms. We can plan errands during that time to do without the kids. It is amazing how time flies when you are trying to get stuff done.
Here is Kaylee making fun shapes in the playdough!

Brina trying so hard to get it just right.

Gavin just had fun doing whatever!

I'm with you on the anti-playdough thing! I hate that stuff! (But it's a lot better than Moon Sand!!) I usually make my kids play with it outside on the patio table. Less mess to clean up!
